FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device comprises load plate, supporting plate and intermediate link kinematically connected with them and made in the form of a -shaped cylinder accommodating several upper pistons and one lower piston, of which the upper ones are linked kinematically with load plate while the lower piston, with supporting plate. The side of upper pistons facing the liquid has special chamfers designed to counterbalance the pressure of liquid on the upper and lower parts of the cylinder casing. The pistons are provided with rubber sealing cups. The lower piston may be replaced by a cover made integral with the supporting plate. Cylinder chamber is filled with liquid. As a load is placed on load plate of the supporting device, it exerts pressure on upper pistons which transmit pressure via liquid to the lower piston. Inasmuch as the cross-sectional area of lower piston or cover is smaller than the total cross-sectional area of upper pistons, pressure applied to lower piston or cover and, correspondingly, to lower supporting plate will be lower as many times as the cross-sectional area of the lower piston or cover is smaller than that of the upper pistons. The number of upper pistons may be increased to six and they may be arranged in two rows (two in the upper row and four arranged crosswise in the lower row). In the course of installation the supporting device may be turned through 180 deg and in this case pressure applied to supporting plate (acting like load plate while supporting plate will act as load plate) will rise higher. In this case the support will increase the pressure of load applied to the supporting surface. EFFECT: improved functional and operating characteristics. 2 cl, 16 dwg
