FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: DC electric locomotive has frame with bogies, body mounted on frame and accommodating motor-fan, motor-compressor, motor-generator, controllers and equipment of brake, recuperative and electric systems. Novelty in design of electric locomotive is that body 18 is installed on four hydraulic supports 24, 25, 26, 27 connected with hydraulic drive system. Each wheelset has additional more rigid springs engaging with unloading cylinders installed on bogies. Moreover, installed between automatic couplers and frame at both ends are hydraulic amplifiers and tie-rods connected by pipelines with drive and travel control hydraulic systems.
