FIELD: optic spectral analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: atomic-absorption analyzer with absorption coefficient modulation has a cuvette with capillary for feeding solution to be analyzed into an atomizing system, burners, lamps with hollow cathodes, electric magnets and a power supply unit for applying power to the electric magnetic. The cuvette contains solution of magnetic metals to be analyzed produced by electric-spark dispersion technique. Absorption coefficient modulation frequency is set with the aid of a synchronous generator. A blank sample and analyzed solution are alternatively applied into the flame atomization system. Useful information is detected by a frequency detector and is recorded by a receiving device. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 3 dwg
