METHOD OF DETECTING HAPRINE IN ATMOSPHERIC AIR Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: hygiene. SUBSTANCE: new method is designed for specifically indicating presence of haprine in atmospheric air. Essence of disclosed method resides in that aspirational sample was turned into liquid phase. Obtained extract was titrated in 25 microlitre of 1-percent serum and then immune serum taken in dosage of 2 HA units and diagnosticum were added to thermostable antigen of haprine. Rabbit serum immunized by haprine producer strain cultivated under sterile conditions was employed as immune serum and ram erythrocytes loaded with thermostable haprine antigen extracted from finished product was used as diagnosticum. Disclosed method is highly sensitive and permits controlling maximum permissible concentrations of haprine at level of 0.0002mg/m3 in terms of specific protein. Alongside its high sensitivity, novel method involves no false-positive reactions with antigens of microorganisms not associated with production of haprine. EFFECT: effective assessment of pollution of atmospheric air.
