FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying serologic analysis of irradiated mammalians blood serum using indirect hemagglutination reaction with antiradiation antibody erythrocyte diagnosticum sensitized with antiradiation antibodies of formalin- and tannin- treated sheep erythrocytes. Radiation-induced antigens being detected in mammalian blood serum under study, hemagglutination is carried out to set diagnosis of radiation injury when hemagglutination degree is 3-4+ and antigen titer is ≥ 1:8. Antiradiation antibody erythrocyte diagnosticum for diagnosing radiation injuries of an organism is produced by sensitizing formalin- and tannin- treated sheep erythrocytes with antiradiation serum produced exposing rabbit to hyperimmunization radiation antigens stage- by-stage adsorbed with heterologous antigens (immunosorbent tissue powders ), centrifuged and poured with phosphate buffer solution having 0.5% of horse blood serum. The so produced preparation is preserved by treating it with phenol.
