FIELD: energetics. SUBSTANCE: during process of starting plant at heating reactor-converter control channel which is a component of nominal mode, regulator is turned on after finishing of transient process caused by change in vapor pressure of working body, for example, cesium. The circuit is turned on when receiving signal formed as conjunctive function of time-sequent events. These events concludes in achieving preset values of voltage, current or cesium vapor pressure. Type of conjunctive function is determined by type of transient process according to vapor pressure of cesium for specific nuclear power plant. If electric power drops lower than preset level of self-provision achieved during heating plant, the thermal power of reactor is corrected by means of controlling current of voltage regulator. These means may be used as well for fixing correspondence between thermal and consumed electric power of reactor-converter. When level of current of reactor-converter falls down lower than minimal tolerant level from standpoint of electronic cooling of the emitter the voltage of voltage regulator is reduced and this voltage is restored in moment of turning on current channel of reactor-converter for operation as a component of nominal regime regulator. EFFECT: improved reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
