FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process is aimed at manufacture of contact unit of electrical set with solid-liquid strap of enhanced reliability at working temperature. When manufacturing contact unit volatile halogen-containing component is injected into mixture of refractory powders. Mixture is slightly pressed and caked with simultaneous baking to pattern surface of contact holder. Then porous matrix of contact strap free from halogen- containing component is impregnated with current-conductive fusible alloy.
