FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: control mechanism of automatic switch is intended for switching of heavy-current electric circuits and for their protection. Tripping lever has protrusion on first end with which it acts on contact lever forming joint with it. Spring acting on tripping lever is so installed that direction of pressure effort passes between axle which carries contact lever and point of engagement of second end of tripping lever with spring-loaded clamp.
