FIELD: communications. SUBSTANCE: method involves encoding source data at transmitting side, modulation of carrier frequency, sending of resulted signal through television broadcasting channel. At receiving side signal is demodulated and stored. Modulated signal is transmitted information band of brightness video signal and decoded data are encoded again. Modulated laser light is stored on removable optical storage medium. Transmitting part of device has source information pick-up 1, TV adapter 2 and TV transmitter 3. TV adapter 2 has encoder 3 and demodulator 4. Receiving part of device has TV receiver 6, TV adapter 7 and optical-mechanical recording device 10. TV adapter 7 has demodulator 8 and decoder 9. Optical mechanical recording device 10 has laser source 11, optical modulator 12, positioning unit 13 and removable information medium 14. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 1 dwg
