FIELD: dairy industry. SUBSTANCE: cooler has body 1 with heat insulation 2. Inside the body there are cold-accumulating tank 3 and tub 4. An evaporator mounted in the tank is a cylindrical or multi-sided shell. The shell body is formed by tubular spiral 10 or rectangular panels with a channel for cooling agent on their external surface. An irrigator is mounted on pipeline 13 for rotation in the direction opposite of that of rotation of agitator 7. The irrigator is located between the bottom of tub 4 and evaporator. In the upper part of tank 3 there is flow-former 25 which directs the flow of cooling agent from the tub bottom. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
