FIELD: agriculture, in particular, composting of animal farming wastes and production of fertilizer. SUBSTANCE: composter has heat-insulated shell divided in vertical plane by intermediate air-permeable bottoms into upper and lower chambers. Bottoms are extended and retracted by drives and have two discharge windows and upper charging part. Composter has air distribution and process control system. Air-permeable floor and discharge part of air distribution system are mounted within shell. Discharge windows are made in opposed side walls of shell and positioned at different levels. Drive drawing members are positioned on side walls outside shell above each window. Air-permeable bottoms are made flexible, provided with resilient edges and pivotally secured with their one side edges to opposite side walls of shell below discharge windows and interconnected by cables connected with bars, which are fixed to other side edges. Drawing members are positioned above related discharge window. Shell is made double-walled and its upper loading part is provided with auger whose housing is extending along shell axis and has longitudinal slot. Rotary gate is positioned outside slot and adapted to guide flow of basic material. Air-permeable floor is formed as grid below which conveyor with bladed rolls is arranged. Longitudinal discharge conveyor is positioned laterally of housing. Rolls are made hollow and perforated and form part of air distribution system.
