FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: needle for pneumomediastinum has a pipe with an adaptor and mandrin. The pipe is bent at its working end, a curvature of the bent portion being 40-45 times the pipe outer diameter and the center being located at a distance of 0.7-0.8 of the length of pipe from the adaptor. The pipe working end cut faces the inner side of the bent portion. The needle furthermore has a bayonet lock made on the needle adaptor for interacting with a pin on the mandrin cone, the bayonet lock slot facing the inner side of the bent portion as well. The mandrin working end is rounded and extends in assembly from the needle part to the plane passing through the needle point orthogonally to the cut plane. EFFECT: reduced traumatism. 2 cl, 3 dwg
