FIELD: refining vegetable and animal oils. SUBSTANCE: for neutralization of crude vegetable and animal oils alkali solution having strength of 20-40 g/dm3 is added to crude oil to be treated followed by addition of a 0.5-1.5 % aqueous oxyethylenediphosphonic acid (OEDP) solution to the resulting mixture at interfacial surface in the amount of 0.5-5.0 % by weight based on total oil material. EFFECT: increased oil refining.
