FIELD: internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has body which houses relatively eccentrically arranged rotating sleeve and rotor with turning vanes and combustion chambers. Valve timing system is used in engine. System is arranged in recess in body face. Sleeve is installed in eccentric bushing to compensate for wear of mating surfaces of sleeve and rotor. Vanes installed on axles in rotor in pairs have arch shutters. radius of outer surface of each vane is equal to radius of rotor outer surface. Ends of mating vanes are made to provide separation of combustion chamber from expansion chamber. Sleeve is made up of three parts two of which are coupled along conjugated screw surfaces for relative travel in circumferential direction, third disk part spring-loaded in axial direction to provide pressing to rotor face. Working volumes are enclosed between surface of sleeve, rotor and vanes. With engine operating, rotor vanes are pressed to sleeve inner surface by centrifugal forces and pressure of gases. Sleeve and rotor rotating together ensure periodical changes of working volumes required for thermodynamic processes and provision of effective work.
