FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: method comes to starting the engine by means of carburetor installed on vehicle and by gasifier operated in parallel. Energy of exhaust gases is used to gasify fuel. Fuel is delivered into gasifier and is distributed over walls in form of fuel film. Walls of gasifier are warmed up by exhaust gases. Gasifier is made in form of original thermos where liquid fuel is turned into gas. With engine warmed up as required, fuel delivery to carburetor is cut off after first cutting in delivery of gaseous fuel from gasifier. Gaseous fuel is mixed with air in carburetor and homogeneous fuel-air mixture of required quality and ratio is delivered into engine cylinders. EFFECT: enhanced economy. 8 cl, 6 dwg
