SUBSTANCE: evaporator of the carburetor comprises fuel tank 1 with inlet branch pipe 2 and outlet branch pipe 3, porous evaporating wick 4 partially submerged in liquid fuel 5, electric heater 6, and sleeve 7 connected to the inlet branch pipe. The bottom of the sleeve is perforated so that to provide fine holes 8. The heater is constructed as Z-like contour which is answered to outline of stay 9 of the evaporating wick and is positioned in the ring closed space which is formed with inner surface of the evaporating wick above the level of liquid in the fuel tank.
