FIELD: ground and soil radioactivity deactivation. SUBSTANCE: method includes soil radioactivity estimating by integral beta-radiation and gamma-radiation intensity determining directly before scraper shovel for full it width. Soil layer width containing radioactive pollution can be determining by spectral intensity relation for more hard radiation line of gamma radiation and Compton scattering with respect to measured radiation dependency. Cleaning quality is estimating by results of beta and gamma activity intensity after first shovel deepening. If residual radiation is detected shovel deepening must be done once more. Back shovel recleans impurity and makes cleaning quality testing. If after full shovel deepening pollution presence is revealed once more ditch-marker is made on soil surface district for long-time conservation for having possibility to change cleaning method arrangement for other district cleaning making by more optimal method ditch-marker using. Device for cleaning testing has three beta-gamma radiation pickups in collimation screen for sensitivity area shaping inside shovel width. One pickup is fixed before shovel on draft gear bars between two spring-loaded running rollers at distance sufficient for first shovel lifting mechanism operating. Two other pickups are mounted at first and back shovels bottoms at separation distance with respect to shovels blades sufficient for background radiation influence eliminating. EFFECT: more effective ground and soil radiation pollution cleaning. 2 cl, 3 dwg
