FIELD: cleaning pipes of various applications driven into ground with their open end. SUBSTANCE: ground core is separated into longitudinal blocks and each block is held on side surface. Device for realization of method is made in form of shell rigidly attached to body of percussion unit. Rigidly secured inside shell is flange with channel communicated with pneumatic circuit. Movable ground taker found in front part of shell is made in form of longitudinal plates whose rear part is attached to washer. Front part is rigidly connected to ring whose diameter corresponds to diameter of shell. Device is driven into ground under action of percussive pulses transmitted from percussion unit through shell to ring. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl, 8 dwg
