FIELD: process of civil engineering work. SUBSTANCE: method consists in periodic introduction of the bailer in the ground with filling of its cavity with ground and extraction of the bailer with ground on the surface. After the bailer is filled with ground, compressed air is supplied to its cavity between the end face surfaces of the ground delivered to the cavity of the bailer and its flange, and after the bailer takes off the ground the supply of compressed air is shut off. The device has a bailer made in the form of a cylindrical shell with a flange forming the bailer cavity, reversing gear attached to the flange and a pneumatic system connected to the bailer cavity through a duct in the flange, component reducing the compressed air pressure in the bailer cavity down to the atmospheric one. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of break-off of the bailer from the ground irrespective of the method of laying. 8 cl, 7 dwg
