FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: bloom is heated up to temperature of 900 - 1200 C with different speed of heating of faces on its small and big radius sides. Speed of blooms heating on small radius side is 1.1-1.2 times higher, than the speed of heating on its big radius side. Rolling of the first series of runs is exercised with different intensity of deformation on wide faces, equalled to 22 - 30 % . EFFECT: method is mainly used for volume stamping. 1 dwg
