FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of metallurgy. Method includes continuous pouring of steel through crystalliser of rectangular section, separation of ingot into stocks, their heating and hot rolling. Pouring is carried out at steel temperature that exceeds liquidus temperature by 10-45°C. Crystalliser is oscillated along axis of pouring with frequency of 40-380 min-1 and amplitude of 5-14 mm. Crystalliser is arranged with rounded angles, having radius of fillets equal to 0.1-0.4 of length of smaller side of crystalliser. Hot rolling of stocks is done with coefficient of total drawing of at least 20.
EFFECT: invention provides for improved quality of rolled metal.
