FIELD: electrocontact machining. SUBSTANCE: working current from generator 3 is supplied to the gap between part 1 and disk electrode-tool 2 by lead wires 4 and 5. Additional pulse current source 6 is connected to the part by lead wires 7 and 8 located on the machined surface close to the machining zone. The polarity of the additional current is opposite to the polarity of the main processing current and provides protection of the machined surface against the effect of the melting from the machining zone.
