FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: air-operated percussion machine has coaxially mounted casing 1 carrying handle 2 and air delivery rod 3, housing 4 with rigidly fastened working tool 5, piston 6 with rod 7 positioned in housing 4, and coupling 8 made in the form of bushing. Rod 7 encloses air delivery rod 3 of housing 1 and is adopted to move along it. One end face of coupling 8, which faces handle 2, is rigidly connected with rod 7 of piston 6 and its second end face embraces housing 4. Machine is equipped with removable tool 10 for crushing stones and fixture 9 secured on second end face of coupling and intended for holding the tool. Thus machine may be used both for compacting and crushing stones. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
