FIELD: mechanical engineering, building. SUBSTANCE: air-operated percussion machine has coaxially mounted casing 1 carrying handle 2 and air delivery rod 3, housing 4 with rigidly fastened working tool 5, piston 6 with rod 7 placed longitudinally movably in housing 4, and a coupling. One end face of coupling, which faces handle 2, is rigidly connected with rod 7 of piston 6 and its second end face embraces housing 4. The coupling is made up of two parts 8 and 9 mounted for mutual longitudinal and lateral displacement. End face of coupling part connected with rod 7 of piston 6, which faces working tool 5, is provided with annular recess 10 and second part of coupling has annular projection 11 entering annular recess 10 of first part 8. Placed between adjacent end faces of both parts of coupling is flexible member. Outer diameter of housing 4 is equal to inner diameter of coupling part 9, which together with housing 1 forms closed chamber. Invention provides for increased force of percussion. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
