FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: wheel unit has automobile wheel hub 2 mounted on journal axle 1 in bearings 5 and 6. Thrust bush 11 is positioned between the bearings and has two parts 14 and 15 which are centered relative to each other. A compensator is located on centering belt 16, the compensator damps axial forces effecting the wheel hub when driving, for example, on a rough road. The compensator controls the axial forces and prevents overturning of the inner bearing race. EFFECT: improved structure. 1 dwg
