FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle motor wheel contains a wheel with a hub and a hub bearing, and an electric motor with a stator and a rotor with a shaft placed in its body. There is also a damping structure mounted between the hub and the vehicle bearing element for vertical movement of the wheel relative to the bearing element and damping of such movement. The step-down gear of the motor wheel transfers motion from the electric motor to the hub and contains a housing, an input link and an output link, interacting therebetween. The input link is located on the rotor shaft. The output link comprises an output shaft mounted parallel to the rotor shaft and connected to the hub to form fixed connection. The step-down gear housing rigidly connected to the motor housing and is mounted in the wheel hub with the possibility of rotation relative to it. The motor body is connected to the damping structure with the possibility of moving relative to it.
EFFECT: enhanced comfort due to reduced wheel vibrations.
