FIELD: pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of several samples of material with different water contact from initial to zero. Specified samples are subjected to thermal analysis during which temperatures of physical-chemical transitions of material from solid to liquid state and back are determined, namely temperatures of vitrification, of material sagging or of start of ice melting. Then diagram of dependence of specified temperatures on content of water in samples is plotted. Later this diagram is used for determination of freezing temperature equal or below temperature of material vitrification, of temperature of material at ice sublimation established below sagging temperature or start of ice melting, of temperature of after-drying of material below sagging temperature.
