FIELD: analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of determination of thermal diffusivity of materials is based on formation of thermal diffraction grating in sample by its exposure to laser pulse having spatial-periodic distribution of density of energy in sample with simultaneous exposure of sample to light of probing laser of continuous action and on finding of thermal diffusivity of sample by measured values of period of thermal grating and time of attenuation of intensity of diffracted light. For provision for possibility of finding of thermal conductivity of samples of small sizes with inherent surface defects and internal inhomogeneities distance between centers of diffraction maxima + and - of first orders is measured with the use of thermosensitive plate placed instead of sample. Light diffracted during both diffraction orders is isolated with the aid of diaphragm with two holes located at measured distance from each other. Time of attenuation of resulting signal from diffraction maxima is registered. EFFECT: method is recommended for mass proximate analysis of thermal-physical parameters of electron-optical components. 2 dwg
