SUBSTANCE: laser doppler velocimeter contains radiation source of two spatially superposed laser beams, the first lens, Bragg acousto-optic modulator of traveling wave, the second lens, first Wollaston prism, optical shaper of probing field, first light-sensitive detector, achromatic half-wave retarder, first and second half-wave dispersion retarders, first and second half-wave retarders, collimator, axicon, second and third Wollaston prisms, confocal lens system, chromatic filter, dichroic mirror, second light-sensitive detector.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurements is achieved through the use of Bessel beams, which ensure the uniformity of the spatial-frequency structure of probing field and the reduction of measuring volume.
