RANGE FINDER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2096810 C1

FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: range finder increases range resolution due to introduction of inverter, horizontal-sweep generator, indicator with line sweep, delay line, single-line television pickup, level decrease analyzer, level increase analyzer, unit of determination of relative pulse duration value, and decoder of relative pulse duration value. Modulator output is connected through inverter, horizontal-sweep generator and delay line to first input of single-line television pickup having the optical input connected to optical output of indicator with line sweep. First and second inputs of indicator are connected to output of horizontal-sweep generator and to output of reflected signal reception unit, respectively. Television pickup output is connected to first and second inputs of unit which determines value of relative pulse duration through level decrease analyzer, respectively. Output of unit which determines value of relative pulse duration is connected through decoder of relative pulse duration value to second input of range converter which has first input connected to inverter output. EFFECT: higher measurement results. 3 dwg
