FIELD: vibration measuring technology. SUBSTANCE: transducer is horizontally rigidly secured to object under investigation to respond to accelerations acting upon the object in horizontal direction. Lower contact 3 and upper contact 4 are made in the form of washer with bearing surface of upper contact being made in the form of taper-shaped depression and bearing surface of lower contact in the form of spherical-shape depression. Current carrying ball 8 is freely located in lower contact depression. When amplitude or friction of vibrations of object under check exceeds permissible value, ball 8 goes from center of lower contact depression, comes in contact with upper contact and closes electric circuit. Transducer sensitivity is smoothly adjusted by changing distance between upper and lower contacts. Lower contact, ball and upper contact are protected against mechanical wear during idle period is effected by gentle jamming of ball between lower and upper contacts. EFFECT: enlarged field of transducer application. 1 dwg
