MULTICONTACT COMMUTATOR Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: permanent contacts 5 are of strip type. They are placed in parallel to each other in space of body 1 with pressing to its bottom. Bottom has form of programming matrix. In holes 6 of matrix there are placed mobile contacts 7 extending above surface of body 1 and limited from displacement upwards by recession 8 of cover 2. With entering through any slot 9 of cover of blade 10 of change-over plate it sinks contacts 7 into holes 6 overcoming elasticity of pressing member 4 on which they act deflecting permanent contacts 5. Thus those controlled lines are commutated which are provided for by program in this very position of change-over plate. Commutator fast setting-up of program.
