FIELD: equipment. SUBSTANCE: static converter has framework with front and rear doors, automatic control unit and power equipment including retractable power units with unit frameworks on the base of punched frames made of composite material. Punched frame is built from two similar U-shaped half-frames placed in symmetry with respect to each other interconnected on both side through their perforation with the aid of rectangular bars. Height of bars is chosen with allowance for height of unit framework necessary for location of component items of corresponding retractable unit. EFFECT: expanded operational capabilities. 4 dwg
