FIELD: SHF equipment. SUBSTANCE: polarizer is built on interconnected round and rectangular waveguides. Vibrator passing through connection hole in face wall of round waveguide and consisting of three sections of line is placed along axis of round waveguide. First section of line is located along axis of round waveguide and has length αw/30-αw/50, where αw is length of wave of fundamental type in round waveguide. Second section of line has length αw/7-αw/9, it is connected to finish of first section of line at angle of 90 deg in parallel to face wall of round waveguide. Third section of line has length αw/4 and is placed at an angle to axis of round waveguide and its finish terminates on axis of round waveguide. Such structure of vibrator prevents excitation of wave, type E01 which results in reduced signal losses. EFFECT: reduced signal losses. 1 dwg
