SUBSTANCE: E₀₁ wave excitation device in the round waveguide contains a power divider with N outputs, N coupling elements with the round waveguide, uniformly disposed in a cross-section on the cylindrical surface of the waveguide, which are connected to the N outputs of the power divider, the input of which is the input of the excitation device. The power divider is made in the form of a coaxial resonator enclosing the round waveguide. The longitudinal dimension of the resonator is multiple of half the wavelength in free space, the input of the power divider is made in the form of a piece of a rectangular waveguide connected to the resonator through a coupling element, N coupling elements with a round waveguide are located directly on the inner cylindrical wall of the coaxial resonator.
