FIELD: filters. SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing resilient material filtering element with conical holes involves preliminarily manufacturing hollow form of porous material with conical needles on its external surface, which protrude from porous material to the value of thickness of filtering element to be produced. First, form with needle-bearing surface is immersed into electrolyte solution and after that into latex mixture. After obtained gel layer is dried, it is rolled for example with the aid of rolls or rollers made of polyurethane until needles appear on outer surface of gel. This done, filtering element is taken off form, for example by blowing air through porous material of hollow form. Device for manufacturing filtering element of resilient material with conical holes is provided with arbor, conical needles and hollow hemispherical casing rigidly secured to arbor having union pipe for delivery blow-through air. Needles are mounted throughout entire surface of sphere with their sharp tips outside to a value of thickness of filtering element. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
