SUBSTANCE: multi-layer blanks are produced in such a manner that powder material is placed in mold to preliminarily- compacted part of briquette, the powder materials are jointly compacted by means of two-side pressing conducted with a number of specific technological features. The method allows obtaining of molded blanks of desired dimensions. As the material of the base layer use is made of non- or low-alloyed steel powder, and as the material of additional layers - the powders of carbides and/or oxides of metals, steels and metal with form memory.
