WHEELED SUPPORT OF TRAILER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: supports are comprised of two levers 6, 7 secured to rear end of trailer so that each lever in its upper position is arranged nearly parallel to fore-and-aft axis of trailer and can be turned by power cylinder 11 or 12 filled with hydraulic fluid under pressure from upper position wherein said lever is positioned close to trailer chassis to lower position wherein it rests on ground or some other underlying surface for lifting and lowering the rear end 1a of trailer. Levers 6 and 7 are equipped with wheeled trucks 15. Each of levers 6, 7 is articulated at such a distance from the rear end of trailer which corresponds approximately to full length of said lever so that when it is in the upper position its free end 6a (7a) together with wheeled truck 15 is disposed in close proximity to rear edge of trailer rear end 1a.
