METHOD OF PRODUCING MOTOR FUEL Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: production of motor fuels. SUBSTANCE: motor fuel was produced by fractionating gas condensate with isolation of ethane, propane-butane, directly distilled, diesel, and residual fractions. Directly distilled gasoline fraction was allowed to contact zeolite-containing catalyst at temperature of 300 to 480 C and pressure of 0.2 to 4.0 MPa. Resultant products were separated into gaseous and liquid. Liquid products were rectified to isolate gasoline and residual fractions. Ethane and/or propane-butane or propane-butane fractions admixed with gaseous products, result of contacting directly distilled gasoline fraction with zeolite-containing catalyst, were separately subjected to pyrolysis followed by admixing products of pyrolysis with directly distilled gasoline fraction. Thus obtained mixture was allowed to contact catalyst. Products of pyrolysis were fractionated to isolate liquid and gaseous fractions. Admixture of gaseous and directly distilled gasoline fractions was brought into contact with catalyst. Liquid fraction was compounded with liquid post-contacting products prior to rectifying these to produce end gasoline and residual fraction. Systems based on zeolites having ZSM-5 or ZSM-11 structure, including those modified by elements of groups 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 in Mendeleev's periodic table, were employed as above mentioned catalyst.
