FIELD: petrochemical industry; process for processing of hydrocarbon materials. SUBSTANCE: method for production of high-octane gasoline fractions provides for contacting of hydrocarbon material (boiling point up to 200-220 C) in medium of hydrogen-containing gas with catalyst containing zeolite, including zeolite with structure ZSM-5 or ZSM-11, metals, of the second, third, fourth and eight groups and/or compounds of metals of the first-fourth groups in the presence of carbon monoxide 2+ and/or carbon dioxide 4,4′. Process is conducted at 280-460 C, pressure of 0.3-10.0 MPa, mass supply velocity of material of 0.2-10.0 mas.part/mas.part per hour, volumetric feed rate of hydrogen-containing gas of 1000-22, 100 vol.part./vol. part. per hour, molar ratio of hydrogen and mixture of carbon mono- and dioxide of 1-20, and molar ratio of carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide of 0.02-1000. When use is made of hydrocarbon material containing paraffins and naphthens, the process is conducted at 350-440 C, pressure of 1-10 MPa, and, in case of hydrocarbon material containing olefins, the process is conducted at 300-400 C and pressure of 0.5-6 MPa. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 6 tbl
