METHOD OF AUTOMATIC LIMITING OF OVERCURRENT OF POWER OF INTERSYSTEM POWER TRANSMISSION Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2011263 C1

FIELD: electric power engineering. SUBSTANCE: overcurrent is limited along the first power transmission and loading of the second power transmission is increased by means of improvement in voltage in the power transmission depending on deflection of overcurrent from the set value. The second power transmission is connected in parallel to the first one. Re-distribution of power between the power transmissions takes place at constant value of their total power. Voltage is increased till the moment of reduction of overcurrent is achieved to value of limitation or till voltage reaches extreme assumed value. EFFECT: limitation of overcurrent. 1 dwg
