FIELD: electrical power engineering. SUBSTANCE: voltage in high-voltage electric power line is changed in function of value of transfer of active power and specified value of drain of reactive power of high-voltage electric power line into receiving and transmitting power systems. Change of voltage in high-voltage electric power line is accomplished by control over transformation ratio of transformers connecting high-voltage electric power line with power systems. With change of parameters of condition of high-voltage electric power line correction of setting of transfer limiting, is carried out in compliance with running values of these parameters.
