FIELD: machining. SUBSTANCE: cutting tool has body made in the form of central rod whose one end is pressed in shank, another its end is provided with fixed cutting portion of the tool. The rod is made from alternatively positioned layers of resilient polymeric material, for example, basalt fiber or fiber glass and binding material. Fibers of polymeric material are positioned in spiral order and cross section of the fibers looks like equilateral triangle the size of which decreases with increase of radius of the body.
