FIELD: means of individual protection. SUBSTANCE: armor jacket comprises breastplate with fasteners, consisting of ceramic and fiber layers connected by binder material. Layers of breastplate are arranged in alternating rows, i. e. a row of fibers, then a ceramic row, each fiber layer being of multilayer design with differently-oriented fibers in each layer, and fibers having the shape of an equilateral triangle in cross section. The row of fibers consists of basalt, quartz fibers or carbide-based fibers while the binder is based on epoxy or polyester resins. The ceramic layer comprises three-dimensional reinforcing grate of polymeric fibers. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 4 dwg
