FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: circular outer groove is made in aft taper portion of each underwater hull adjoining the cylindrical portion. Surface of this groove copies inner surface of nozzle which is rigidly connected with rods of hydraulic cylinders arranged inside hull. Rods are passed through stuffing boxes in underwater hull and run through recesses in circular groove. Outer surface of nozzle has conicity similar to that of aft portion of hull. Provided in aft portion of each strut is vertical passage for towing rope which terminates at the bottom in hawse pipe located directly above underwater hull; at the top, this passage is connected with towing winch room located in upper structure.
