FIELD: polymeric materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing of solutions of aromatic polyamide in solution of dimethylsulfoxide in the presence of additions. The source of additions: alkoxide of the general formula CXH2x+1 O- M+, where x = 1-7, and M is taken from a group involving Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, or alkaline metal amide of the general formula R1; R2 N- M+, where M - as indicated above, and R1 and R2 are taken from a group containing H, C1-C7-alkyl at quantity from 1.0 to 1.3 equivalent per equivalent of -NH-groups of polyamide. Solutions of aromatic polyamide can be used for fiber and coating making. EFFECT: improved method of polyamide preparing.
