TRANSPORT CONSTRUCTION, CONSTRUCTIVE SECTION OF BUILDING AND OF TRANSPORT CONSTRUCTION, METHOD OF ITS ERECTING, REPAIRING AND/OR RECONSTRUCTION AND ASPHALT CONCRETE MIXTURE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: transport construction, constructive section of the building and transport constructions have ground bed with flattened and/or thickened base. Intermediate constructive layers and/or supporting-carrying constructions displaced on said base have one or two-layer covering of asphalt-concrete. Asphalt-concrete is prepared of mixture containing, % : broken stone of 10-20 mm fraction 18.7-28.8, gravel of 10-20 mm fraction 5-10, gravel of 5-10 mm fraction 10-20, mineral powder 8-16, bitumen binder 4.5-6.5 and sand - the rest. Method of erecting transport constructions involves ground bed preparing, placing constructive layers of base and/or intermediate supporting-carrying units on it and covering by one or by two layers of mentioned above asphalt-concrete mixture. Method of repairing involves clearing and partially removing outworn or damaged asphalt-concrete layer and/or applying adhesive layer. The process is followed by applying one or two layers of asphalt-concrete mixture. Asphalt-concrete mixture has composition being mentioned above. Bitumen or petroleum asphalt or hard coal pitch or mixture of bitumen and sulfur, or mixture of petroleum asphalt and sulfur at ratio 3-5: 1 is used as bitumen binder. Crushed slag of blast furnace is used as broken stone. Ash of central heating and power plant or phosphorous-gypsum is used as mineral powder.
