FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: reservoir for liquefied gases has mechanical mixer connected with heat-insulating disk by means of shaft. Heat-insulating disk floating on the surface of liquefied gas is provided with spiral grooves on its lower end which are triangular in cross section. On the lateral surface of disk there are additional grooves which are inclined towards generatrix. Liquefied gas is continuously evaporating in reservoir due to external heat flows and vapor formed above disk escapes through grooves, thus setting the disk in rotary motion which is transmitted to mixer through shaft. Thus layers of liquid at different temperatures in height of reservoir are mixed. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 dwg
