FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: cylinder horizontal reservoir 3 of operational compatibility is installed in concrete rectangular container 1. Reservoir 3 is filled and emptied with liquefied natural gas though pipeline with multi-purpose accessories 6. Pipelines are positioned in well 5 isolated from an internal cavity of container 1. Also, pipeline 8 for pumping air out from container 1 and for maintaining vacuum in it is positioned in well 5. Space between reservoir 3 and internal walls of container 1 is filled with powder-vacuum insulation substance 4, for example, on base of pearlite powder. Stops 11 and props 2 made of material with low heat conductivity facilitate rigid fixation of reservoir 3 in container 1. External metal surface of a wall of the reservoir is covered with layer 10 of composite material (for example, glass fibre or glass plastic).
EFFECT: reduced cost and time for construction and erection operations, increased time for drain-free storage of liquefied natural gas and increased reliability of operation of storages with cryogenic fuel.
