FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: boiler heat exchange convective surface has two opposing stacks of flat coils 1 and 2 made of tubes whose straight sections 4 are connected with bends 3. Coils of one stack are arranged between coils of other stack. Coils 1 and 2 are made of finned tubes over entire length; fins are perpendicular to plane of each coil. During operation of the boiler, flue gases moving in gas duct cross the coils whose planes are perpendicular to gas flow. Fins reduce stagnant pockets, thus reducing contamination of tubes.
